One thing I learned the hard way. You get drinks for free as long as your playing and bud light there is like $8. So as long as you don’t completely suck at cards you can get your money’s worth by downing light beers at the tables.

I probably won’t be playing Black Jack much this trip. It’s mostly about partying (we surprised my buddy today; he thought him and his wife were going alone, there are now 19 people in our group).

Went to the Wynn. Won $100. The trick, obviously, is to walk out once you’re ahead. I was ahead; I walked out.

No big winnings, but it paid for lunch.

My best buddy’s surprise 40th birthday trip. He knew he was going to Vegas, but didn’t know it was with 17 other people.

No snow, but it’s cooler than this Texas Boy is used to.
